If the drive motor shaft is not broken, but the output shaft of the reducer is broken, in addition to the reasons for the poor assembly concentricity of the output end of the reducer, there are the following possible reasons:
First of all, the wrong type selection results in insufficient output of the equipped reducer. Some users mistakenly believe that as long as the rated output torque of the selected reducer meets the operating requirements, it is not the case.
First, the additional output torque of the drive motor is multiplied by the speed ratio, and the value obtained is in principle smaller than the corresponding rated output torque provided by the product sample of the reducer;
The second is to consider the overload capacity of the drive motor and the operating torque required in practical use. In theory, the operating torque required by the user must be less than twice the additional output torque of the reducer.
Especially in some occasions, it is necessary to strictly abide by this principle, which is not only to protect the internal gears and shafting of the reducer, but also to prevent the output shaft of the reducer from being twisted and broken.
If these factors are not considered, once there is a problem with the installation of the equipment, the output shaft of the reducer will be stuck by the load, and the overload capacity of the drive motor will still make it continue to increase the output until the output shaft of the reducer receives more than the force. Its output torque, the shaft will be twisted off. If the additional output torque of the reducer has a certain margin, the bad situation of twisting the output shaft will be avoided.
Secondly, in the process of acceleration and deceleration, if the instantaneous impact torque received by the output shaft of the reducer exceeds twice its additional output torque, and the acceleration and deceleration are too frequent, the reducer shaft will also be broken. If this happens, it should be carefully calculated and considered to increase the torque margin.
