How to use and maintain the planetary reducer during the running-in period?

Planetary gearboxes pay attention to the operating load during running-in. In general, the operating load during running-in shall not exceed 85% of the rated operating load. After the planetary reducer leaves the factory, it is generally stipulated that the running-in time is about 200 hours (it is necessary to change the oil after the time), and the appropriate amount of operation is organized. Avoid the overheating phenomenon caused by the long-term continuous operation of the planetary reducer. Pay attention to frequent inquiries. If there is an abnormality, you should park the car in time to clean it. If the cause is not found and the fault is not cleaned, the operation should be stopped.

Reasonable selection of lubricating oil for planetary reducers, especially for reducers with input power greater than 11KW, should be filled with medium-load gear oil. Pay attention to frequently check the lubricating oil, hydraulic oil, coolant, oil level and quality, and check the tightness of the whole machine. Also note that lubricating oil (grease) does not easily form a uniform oil film on the conflicting surfaces to avoid wear.

The planetary reducer should be clean, and loose parts should be adjusted and tightened in time to avoid wear or scrapping of parts due to loosening.

At the end of the commissioning period, the machine should be subject to mandatory maintenance, inspection and proper adjustment, and careful oil changes. Lighten the load, keep an eye on it, and enhance the smoothness. As long as we pay attention to and maintain the planetary reducer during the trial operation as required, the occurrence of early problems will be reduced, the service life will be extended, the production efficiency will be improved, and the reducer will bring you more benefits.
